A Message from the Principal

Principal’s Message

During this holiday season, we are reminded of what is most important in our lives…our families! Our current health crisis has caused so many of us to significantly alter the way we celebrate and gather, but we will do what we must to remain safe and healthy, and keep those we love safe and healthy, too.

As we continue through this very strange school year, we will maintain our focus on quality learning experiences, designed to support our students. Teachers are reaching out to make this time as productive as possible, and are concerned about every aspect of our students’ lives. Our school counselors are always ready to support students and families, in whatever way may be necessary. We do ask, that if your child is experiencing anxiety or nervousness about this new normal, please don’t hesitate to contact Ms. Fetty or Mrs. Brown. They will be happy to work with you to develop an action plan to meet the needs of your child.

One of the things we have noticed this year, is that our students are incredibly resilient. They are focused and serious about their schooling. They have risen to every challenge, and have proven themselves to be leaders of learning. We’re very proud of them all…those who attend in person, and those who connect virtually. Each learning situation presents challenges, but our students have met each challenge, head-on, with determination and fortitude.

While we can’t predict how the pandemic will next impact our school year, we do know that we will remain dedicated to assuring our students are meeting these challenges, and that we continue to Grow Leaders, One Child at a Time.

Stay safe!
