The Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia came to visit the 1st grade this afternoon! They talked about penguins, owls, and pigeons to the students. They even brought in a few birds and feathers for the students to check out!





Cheat Lake Elementary Science Fair!!

Congratulations to 4th graders Sanvi and Aelah and 5th graders Faye and Nikki for being selected to participate in the All-State Children's Chorus this past weekend!


A huge thank you to 4-H for visiting our Pre-K explorers today! 🍀 We learned all about keeping our smiles bright by practicing our brushing skills and choosing tooth-friendly snacks. We’re officially on our way to being cavity-free experts!

Thank you to Mrs. Skotnicki in generously sharing her Extra Yard for Teachers award with the entire school and her work in getting the buddy benches for all students to enjoy. Thank you also to ESPN and WVU.

Mrs. Rogers’ 3rd graders transformed into junior engineers today, putting the laws of magnetism to the test. The classroom buzzed with excitement as students used repulsion forces to propel their magnetic cars across the finish line.









Busy little workers hard at play! 🐬💼 Mrs. Maeleah and Mrs. Katie’s preschool class had so much fun running the “Dolphin Desk & Office” center in their classroom this week!









Miss Laura and Mrs. Tammy's class has been learning about community helpers and hidden heroes. Today for Valentine's Day they delivered some Valentine's to hidden heroes around our school!
