Mrs. Maeleah and Mrs. Katie’s PreK class has been learning all about insects and life cycles! Our caterpillars have arrived, and we can’t wait to watch them turn into beautiful butterflies. 🐛We enjoyed a nature walk and explored our creativity with some process art. 

Mrs. Redman's class has been busy learning about frogs! They also have been enjoying STEM activities and participating in reader's theater!

We are officially getting ready to welcome our newest (and smallest) learners to the Cheat Lake Elementary family. A huge shout out to Purrfect Events! They absolutely brought the magic today, making Kindergarten registration an unforgettable party for the Class of 2039!

Mrs. Roger's 3rd grade class in Steam Lab with Ms. Neptune, making their robots move/dance with Matata Studio.

Mrs. Wolfe’s class celebrated their IREADY success with board games!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our STEAM night. From the dedicated teachers and enthusiastic student volunteers to Spark Museum, WVU Biology, WVU School of Pharmacy and The Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia , your support made the evening unforgettable. It was wonderful to see so many families exploring the wonders of science and technology together

The Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia came to visit the 1st grade this afternoon! They talked about penguins, owls, and pigeons to the students. They even brought in a few birds and feathers for the students to check out!
