We are pleased to share that our Raptor Security System has been upgraded to provide faster and more secure screening for all adults entering our building.
This new feature allows visitors to complete the required security steps before arriving on campus. Once completed, you will receive a Raptor Passport QR Code that can be used for every future visit to Cheat Lake Elementary and other Monongalia County Schools. This process only needs to be completed one time.
We strongly recommend completing these steps on your mobile device prior to requesting access to the building for meetings, volunteering, or other visits.

Upload a photo of your driver’s license
Take a selfie for identity verification
Generate your Raptor Passport QR Code
Upon arrival, visitors may use the self-service iPad in our front office to scan their QR code, sign in, and print a visitor badge.
Please remember: Visitors are required to wear and visibly display their visitor badge at all times while on school property.
